Legal
Terms of service.
Effective May 7, 2026
By creating an account or using myselfpod you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, the email at the bottom of this page is the right place to ask.
01
The service.
myselfpod is a thinking tool. You speak with an AI producer that listens, reacts, and helps you find the lines worth keeping. We record the session so you can re-listen, review highlights, and download the artifacts.
We may add features, change behaviors, or retire parts of the product. Material changes that affect your saved sessions will be communicated in advance.
02
Your account.
You need to be at least 16 years old to use myselfpod. You are responsible for the security of your account and for everything that happens under it. Use a real email address you can receive mail at, choose a password you do not reuse elsewhere, and tell us promptly if you suspect access has been compromised.
You may not share your account with another person, create accounts using automation, or impersonate someone else when signing up.
03
What you record.
You own the content of your sessions. You give myselfpod a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transcribe, rank, and play back that content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.
You agree not to record:
- Other people's voices without their consent. Where you live may also have legal recording-consent rules. You are responsible for following them.
- Confidential information you do not have the right to share with a third-party service.
- Material that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate this section.
04
What myselfpod outputs.
The transcripts, highlight rankings, suggested tighter versions of your lines, titles, and memory paragraph are all generated by AI. They will sometimes be wrong, awkward, or miss the point. Treat them as a starting point, not a conclusion.
You are free to use the recordings, transcripts, and generated text as you see fit, including commercially. The underlying AI suggestions are not copyrightable on their own and we make no claim of ownership over them.
05
Plans and billing.
myselfpod offers a free tier with usage limits and paid plans with higher limits and additional features. Paid plans renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribed until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account.
If we change pricing for an existing paid plan, you will be notified at least thirty days in advance and the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
Refunds are handled case by case. For genuine service failures we will refund without ceremony. For change of mind, we treat the most recent billing period as non-refundable but you keep access until it ends.
06
Acceptable use.
You may not use myselfpod to:
- Train, fine-tune, or evaluate another AI system on its outputs without written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract our interface, prompts, or internal tooling.
- Send malware, attempt to break our infrastructure, or interfere with other users' sessions.
- Resell myselfpod as your own service or repackage its outputs as a competing product.
07
Service availability.
myselfpod is provided on an as-is basis. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it. Sessions can fail mid-call for reasons outside our control, including network issues, third-party vendor outages, or hitting a usage cap. Where a session fails, we work to recover whatever we can of the recording so you do not lose your thinking.
08
Closing your account.
You may delete your account at any time by emailing the address below. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical and immediately where the violation is severe. On closure, the deletion timeline in our privacy policy applies.
09
Limits and disclaimers.
To the extent allowed by law, myselfpod is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of myselfpod is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.
10
Governing law and disputes.
These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent your local law requires it. Otherwise they are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved by talking to us first will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
11
Changes to these terms.
When we change something material we will update the effective date at the top of this page and email registered users a short summary of what changed. Continued use of myselfpod after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
